We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Accounts Junior to join our client’s team in Sandton. The Accounts Junior will be responsible for providing support to the accounting department by performing various duties, including but not limited to data entry, maintaining financial records, and assisting with financial reports.
Key Responsibilities:
– Assist with month-end financial reports
– Perform basic accounting tasks, such as data entry and processing invoices
– Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
– Assist with the preparation of financial statements
– Assist with budgeting and forecasting
– Provide support for internal and external audits
– Handle general administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
– Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
– Attention to detail and accuracy
– Previous experience in an accounting role is preferred but not required
