Accountant – Manufacturing – R650K – R480K Full Time

Hire Resolve’s client is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their team in Pinetown, Durban. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional with experience in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, analysis, and process improvements, ensuring accurate financial management and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Fixed Asset Register: Implement and update the asset register in Sage X3 V12.
• CapEx Reviews: Analyze CapEx requests, conduct financial calculations, recommend prioritization, and monitor projects.
• Support to Management Accountant: Assist with financial reporting and budgeting, preparing analyses, and transitioning into a Management Accountant role.
• Financial Analysis: Assess business processes, identify cost-saving opportunities, and participate in financial projects.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficiency improvements.
• Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Collaboration: Work closely with teams to gather and analyze financial data.

Requirements

• Matric and an Accounting Degree.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel (Advanced Level).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Preferably in a chemical or manufacturing environment
