Sustainability Manager
A great mining company in Limpopo is seeking the expertise of a Sustainability Manager to join their team.
Essential Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Degree in Social Science, Commerce, Community Development or Sustainable Development
- 7 – 10 years’ experience in a mining environment
- Project Management experience is essential
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Have knowledge of social performance focus areas related disciplines i.e. education and skills development, enterprise development, socio-economic development and social infrastructure development
- Establish and maintain collaborative business relationships with relevant project stakeholders, including clients/ customers, suppliers and beneficiaries.
- Working knowledge of the development and implementation of Social Labour Plans
- Working knowledge of the development and implementation of Social Labour Plans
- Knowledge of engaging different social performance stakeholders, social impact measurement, monitoring and evaluation mechanisms.
- Develop and document an integrated project management plan to be approved in the required format according to Project Management standards and organisation procedures.
- Manage the implementation of the project in accordance with project requirements, the project management plan and agreed procedures.
- Manage Project Transitions in accordance with project requirements, the project management plan and agreed procedures.
- Contributes to process improvement in project management by applying lessons learned to future projects’ Project management process improvements i.e. lessons learned are applied to future projects.
