Mining Engineer
A great mining company in Mpumalanga is seeking the expertise of a Mining Engineer to join their team.
Essential Requirements:
- Grade 12
- National Diploma/ Degree in Mining Engineering
- Surface Blasting Certificate
- Mine Managers Certificate
- 6 – 8 years’ experience in an opencast mining environment
- Minimum 2 years as Production Superintendent
- Drill and Blast experience is essential
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducting drill and blast planning activities for opencast operations
- Supporting production process to achieve planned targets
- Fulfilling daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting duties
- Supporting preparation of reserves and parameters
- Doing viability studies
