Logistics Director
A leading logistics company situated in Johannesburg is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Logistics Director to join their team.
The successful incumbent for this position will be responsible for:
- Ensure strategic alignment with support to the company’s business objectives.
- Contribute to the development of the Logistics Strategy to deliver on priorities and growth agendas.
- Drive the delivery of the company’s financial performance.
- Build strong, collaborative and effective working relationships with company leaders and senior managers.
- Deliver strategic alignment of risk and governance frameworks to the company’s and stakeholders’ requirements.
- Create a customer-centric, business partnering Logistics function able to provide decision support.
Key requirements:
- Postgraduate qualification in Logistics or a similar field.
- An MBA or an additional qualification would be advantageous.
- 5 to 10 years post-qualification experience in logistics management.
- Proven track record of managing logistics teams that deliver results and exceed expectations.
