Civil Design Engineer
An industry-leading company is currently looking for a highly skilled and ambitious Civil Design Engineer to join their team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of cost estimating of design development options
- Preparation of reports and presentations
- Design & documentation of municipal services
- Develop cost-effective design layouts
- Analyze design issues and recommend corrective actions
- Perform civil design analysis and calculations
- Determine construction cost and material estimates based on civil designs
- Perform field surveys and investigations to prepare engineering drawings
- Review project plan and determine the design feasibilities and constraints
- Use latest software and technologies to develop effective designs
- Maintain accurate design files for reference purposes
- Manage design projects within allotted timelines and budgets
- Perform design changes and improvements according to changing project demands
- Ensure compliance with ISO quality requirements.
Key Requirements:
- BSc Engineering/BTech
- ECSA Professional Registration (advantageous)
- 5+ years’ experience with Municipal Infrastructure Design experience
- Experience in both greenfield and brownfield projects
- Experience with GCC2015, SABS1200 & COLTO
- Experience of Quality assurance when conducting site inspections
- Knowledge and experience in working with AutoCAD, Civil Designer Software and / or Civil3D
