Systems Administrator/System Engineer
Location: Johannesburg
Salary: R25k-R30k
A reputable insurance company based in the South of Johannesburg is currently looking for a Systems Administrator/System Engineer who has technical proficiency in multiple technologies, and is deadline and procedure driven.
Requirement:
3 years’ experience in ITIL management
MCSE 2003
MCITP 2008 Certified Professional
5 years’ experience in Server, Network and Internet availability management and support
VMware Certification, Citrix Certification CCNA
5 years’ experience in Back office management and support
Duties:
ITIL management: All incidencts, problems, releases, changes to be managed through the set out guidelines of ITIL practice. Compliance with the above to ensure availability of IT services. Back Office management and support: Ensure all Service packs, Windows Updates, Virus Definitions, Signatures are updated within release periods. Ensure configuration of back office to best practise and assist in the continual improvement to process and procedure.
