Job Description
Would you like to be a part of a company who will help define the future of web applications? Then read this! Our client is a leading web application development company and is looking for a Senior Software Test Engineer. Do you have the right stuff?
Responsibilities:
Building to test plans
Automation frameworks
Scoping projects
Mentoring junior members of the team
Working with software engineers to interpret and thoroughly understand requirements.
Qualifications and Experience (Essential):
Bachelor’s Degree or higher
Minimum of 3-5 years in-depth experience in black box and white box testing
Previous automation experience required
Proven experience in writing test plans and test cases
Ability to track testing results and report metrics to management team
Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux/Unix, and Mac OS X
Moderate SQL skills
Qualifications and Experience (Desirable):
Previous experience with load testing tools like Web Loader
Sys Admin skills for setting up and maintaining development, testing and staging environments
Prior experience building or testing Flash, Flex, and/or Air based applications
Previous programming experience with C++, C#, Java, PHP, Ruby, or other OO languages preferred
Advanced web development skills (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX and etc.) preferred
Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP preferred
