Senior Mining Engineer

Job Description

Hire Resolve represents one of the largest Mining companies in South Africa in search for a Senior Mining Engineer. The successful candidate will prepare mine designs and schedules to support the achievement of medium and long term plans, Assist in preparation of budget production and development schedules for the open pit operations and update these as required, Demonstrate an ability to apply a variety of mine design techniques and use economic evaluation to differentiate between different mining options, Undertake daily monitoring and scheduling of mining operations, Prepare drill and blast designs, Ensure maintenance of a safe working environment and demonstrate a personal commitment to safety by the use of agreed programs. This role requires a Degree in Mining Engineering with 5 to 10 years’ experience in open pit mining operations and a First Class Mine Managers or Quarry Managers Certificate of Competency.
