Job Description
Make 2012 a year to remember by applying now for this great opportunity! My client wants to employ a motivated web developer with strong PHP and ASP skills. They work on a number of large website, mostly in the higher education and academic fields. The sites are often complex with sophisticated backend systems and they therefore require developers who are creative, lateral thinkers and task driven. They offer a stimulating work environment as part of a dynamic young team, always keen on tackling new opportunities and challenges.
Requirements:
3 – 4 years experience as web developer is required
Relevant qualification
Excellent capabilities in web development languages ASP, ASP.Net and PHP as well as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, database programming language (MYSQL,SQL Server) and CMS.
Based in Johannesburg but must be willing to travel to Pretoria and Midrand as well. Own transport and relevant license are essential. Candidate must be able to speak and read Afrikaans.
Advantageous
Work on large websites (more than 50 000 pages) will be an advantage. Previous work in the Higher Education or academic research sector will also be an advantage.
