Financial Accountant

Job Description

This large Mining Company is looking for a competent individual to take up the Financial Accountant position. This company will provide you with excellent exposure and knowledge to gain!

Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversight of key accounting and reporting systems infrastructure.

Manage the Financial, Accounting and Compliance functions of the Company including payrolls, Cash Flow Management; Financial Reporting (internal and external) within agreed reporting deadlines.

Manage the interaction with the stores department to ensure that financial processes cover all activities and that financial information is accurate, reasonable and complete.

Manage the monthly trial balance closing, including review of balance sheet reconciliations, review of reported information and month end journal processing.

Ensure compliance of company with local statutory Accounts in conjunction with external advisors and Local Audit requirements.
